Public transport is about to get easier for the Greater Shepparton region with stage two of the Maude street Interchange and Plaza commencing within the next few days!

With stage one of the new public amenities facility well under way, Council has initiated stage two of the plans developing an eight bay bus interchange running adjacent to stage one of the development.

During the construction, residents can expect some demolition of kerbs, footpaths and street lights operating on both sides of Maude street.

Unfortunately this means that there may be changes to traffic flow, so you may want to make sure you're leaving a little earlier than usual in case of delays!

The bus interchange is expected to make public transport much easier for residents, allowing easy access to the CBD, train station and other locations.

Stage one is due for completion in June 2019 with stage two due in October! For more info on the project, head to the council website.
