Adelaide has been sweltering this summer.
Yesterday's top of 42 degrees is the third time in 11 days that the temperature reached over 40 in the city.
Thankfully though a cool change and showers has swept through the city, cooling it down 14 degrees to a top of 28 today.
Adelaide has been that hot in fact, that today marks the first time in 15 days that the top temperature has been below 30.
The cooler temps will stick around for a couple of days, with Tuesday (24 degrees) and Wednesday (25 degrees) looking comfortable before the mercury starts to rise again before the weekend.
We'll have tops of 28 and 29 on Thursday and Friday, before we hit the 30-plus's again for the weekend with Saturday (31 degrees) and and Sunday (33 degrees) looking like decent beach days.
Spare a thought for reasonable SA though, with the Central and Northern parts of the state still sweltering through 40 degree days.
