A supermarket in Thailand has swapped plastic wrappings for banana leaves as a way to be more environmentally friendly!
The supermarket, located in Chiang Mai, has gone viral this week after photos of their fruit and vegetable section went viral.
A post on the Perfect Homes Chiang Mai Facebook page says, "Well done Veggie first and Rimping. Let's hope there are more great ways to cut plastic!"
You'll see there does still seem to be some kind of plastic (possibly tape) on some of the bundles - but this is a lot less plastic than any other form of wrapping!
