This Morning Was Melbourne's Coldest In Almost A Year

Anyone feel a bit chilly this morning? We've just lived through the coldest start for Melbourne in nearly a year.

The mercury dropped to just 3C in the city this morning - making it the chilliest start to the day since August 29 last year.

But thankfully - the weather bureau's Peter Newham says it'll be better tomorrow:

"It's quite common to get a few mornings this cold throughout the year... nowhere near as cold as it was the 29th of August last year when it dropped to just 0.8C in the city."
