This Is Why There's No Chance That Brian Will Win Australian Survivor

Brian Lake is one of the toughest competitors on Australian Survivor this season, but could a win be snatched away from him for reasons he never expected?

Brian won a brand new car this week in a hotly fought reward challenge. He was pretty pleased with himself, and also attempted to make a deal with Monika to give her the car if he won the game.

However, the Survivor franchise has a long running and mysterious Car Curse that means that no one has ever won a car and then won the game. In US Survivor, cars have been given away at reward challenges 12 times. None of those people were crowned the Sole Survivor in their season, although Boston Rob won a car and later won a different season of Survivor.

And in Australian Survivor last year, Michelle won a car but did was voted out in fourth place. 

Sorry Brian, the Survivor overlords have spoken! Unless you can work some magic, this curse is going to get you.
