Australia Day is this coming Tuesday and it's time to make some plans! Luckily, there are some fantastic events around Hobart this Aus Day that are perfect for the whole family!
Kingston Australia Day Swim
The annual event is back for another year of fun in the sun.
Join the summer fun with the ocean swim hosted at Kingston Beach. The swim run will start at 7am and finishing at 12pm. You have the option of doing the 500 metres or 1.5 kilometres.
It's sure to be a fun day out for all.

Australia Day Breakfast on the Bellerive Boardwalk
Tantalise your tastebuds to the tune of Tasmania's up and coming musicians as you congratulate the works of Australia’s finest.
Up your Australia Day game and crack out the flags, thongs and Aussie salute at this gathering. Held at Bellerive Boardwalk, it includes the traditional big Aussie breakfast, citizenship ceremony, Australia Day Awards and a performance by the Clarence City Band.
And, of course, being a breakfast, there will be eats available from The Flipped Egg, Black Pearl, Marypin South American Food, Cool Cow Caf, The Waffle Man and Moto Veccia.

The City of Hobart Citizenship Ceremony and Australia Day Awards Ceremony
The City of Hobart Citizenship Ceremony and Australia Day Awards Ceremony will be held at the Sandy Bay Regatta on the
26th of January.
This event is a community celebration of our new citizens and of those who have contributed to our community
over the years.
The ceremony begins with a Welcome to Country delivered by an Aboriginal Community Member followed by musical performances and speeches by elected representatives.
Citizens and Australia Day Award Recipients are presented with their certificates and gifts and the celebration concludes with a shared morning tea.
This is a free community event.

Aus Day at the Gardens
Aus Day at the Gardens is an exciting new Australia Day event at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.
The all-ages licensed event will feature a selection of craft beer, Tasmanian wine and local food vans.
The all local line-up brings great Tasmanian Talent to life.
The Aus Day at the Gardens event will kick-off at 2pm producing an afternoon/evening of quality entertainment coupled with fine food, great local talent and an array of drink choices to help you celebrate the prominent Australia Day.
