This Guy’s Flower Gift To His Girlfriend Went Oh So Very Wrong

Our mothers always taught us that it’s the thought of a gift that counts, right?
We think this is definitely what’s going down with one couple after this guy’s gift to his girlfriend did not go to plan.
A US man recently made an attempt at a romantic gesture for his partner, buying her some beautiful purple flowers to make her swoon (not that flowers alone are enough to make a girl swoon).
The only thing was… they weren’t flowers.
His partner, as is the way with such things these days, took to Twitter to share his hilarious mistake with the world and it has since gone viral.
Unless your partner loves lettuce beyond compare (which we kinda doubt…), we strongly suggest learning the difference between lettuce and flowers.
Just a tip…
Although lettuce is much cheaper than flowers, so maybe this guy is on to something.
