You might remember the popular Sydney restaurant Xerts back in the early 2000’s.

It was located in Darling Harbour and it was way before its time.

It was space and alien themed and you could literally order your food through a computer screen… then your food would appear.

These days that doesn’t sound too fancy, but in 2003 that was Myspace photo worthy.

The best part about it was that you had to go on a virtual reality ride to get into the restaurant.

Basically, what we are saying is that it was what dreams were made of.

Sadly, our dreams were soon cut short after it was shut down.

Now, it turns out that the restaurant may have been shut down because it was haunted.

According to Reddit user, Won’tThinkStraight, a little boy passed away a few days after having his birthday party at Xerts.

The wrote, “The restaurant is now closed, but not long after it had opened, a little boy died a few days after having his birthday party there. It was said that his ghost haunted the restaurant. “

Adding, “Staff who worked there reported seeing a little boy riding a tricycle around the restaurant and staff that work nightshifts reported feeling a strange presence. The space-themed restaurant held rides and whoever wanted to get off had to put up their hand. Once a staff member saw someone put up their hand but no one was there. The ghost was said to be harmless and rarely seen by clients.”

Well, there you go.
