The One Mater project has announced the new group CEO and foundation board with aims to unify Mater's health services across South East QLD, North QLD and Central QLD under a single board of government.

The Catholic not-for-profit organisation brings together collective expertise and resources across health, education and research to help community members make better health choices every day.

The Board includes Mr Francis Sullivan (Chair), Mr Pat Brady, Mr Gerard Houlihan, Sr Sandra Lupi RSM, Ms Jenny Parker, Dr John Rivers, Ms Virginia Ryan and Ms Jane Yacopetti, with Dr Peter Steer named as Group CEO to this single board of governance.

“Our new Mater Board... brings together experienced Directors from each of our regions, along with new Board members who will bring valuable insights. Central to our mission is to ensure people in remote and regional Queensland have access to world class health care close to where they live.”
