The M4 Will Be Closed For Several Days Next Month Including The June Long Weekend

Sydney traffic is getting worse and worse these days, and next month it’s gonna be on a whole other level.

It has just been announced that the M4 Motorway will be shut down for a few days next month, including the June long weekend.

It will be closed as work continues on The Northern Road upgrade in Penrith. 

They are currently installing a new bridge over the M4 at The Northern Road, so now the existing bridge needs to be removed.

The M4 will be closed from 9pm on Friday, June 7 until 4am on Tuesday, and on June 11 in both directions at The Northern Road.

It is believed that you will still be able to enter and exit the M4 in both directions at The Northern Road during the closed times, but you should be allowing extra travel time and expect delays.
