It’s no secret that its freaking HOT today, and sadly, it isn’t going anywhere.
Parts of Sydney will hit 41 degrees today which comes after an already record-breaking week of December heat.
This morning at 9am, temperatures at Sydney Airport already reached 28.4 degrees and they continued to soared throughout the morning.
This arvo, we can expect places like Richmond and Penrith to hit 41 degrees.
The CBD will see maximum temperatures of 30 degrees for today and it's expected to reach around 35 degrees at Sydney Olympic Park.
Hornsby will reach 36 degrees, while Parramatta is predicted to reach 37 degrees. Campbelltown will see temps of 39 and Liverpool can expect with 40 degrees.
The high temps will stick around for the next few days, with the heatwave predicted to peak over the weekend.
Western Sydney will be hit with 42 degrees on Saturday and 41 degrees on Sunday.
