Game of Thrones may be coming to an end, but die hard fans may at least find some feeling of ease knowing HBO has a prequel series in the works.

So far, this is what we know about the plot:

“Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.

“From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: It’s not the story we think we know.”

Now, HBO has revealed the official cast with Australia’s Naomi Watts leading the way!

Check it:

Naomi Watts (21 Grams, King Kong, Mulholland Drive)

Josh Whitehouse (Modern Life Is Rubbish, The Receptionist)

Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans, Black Mirror)

Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia series)

Jamie Campbell Bower (Deathly Hallows, Crimes of Grindelwald, Breaking Dawn)

Toby Regbo (Deathly Hallows, Crimes of Grindelwald

Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth, Star Wars: Episode IX)

Denise Gough (Colette)

Sheila Atim (Harlots)

Alex Sharp (How to Talk to Girls at Parties)

Yes you read that right, the film will reunite young Dumbledore with young Grindelwald and then have them collide the world of Potter with the world of Narnia, as the actress who played little Lucy stars alongside them, all grown up!

For those still hesitant about the prequel, HBO has also confirmed that Jane Goldman and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin will be the creators of this new series. So it should be in good hands!
