The Central Coast is drying out after the wet and wooly weather over the past 24 hours.

Wind speeds reached 65 kms per hour at Norah Head overnight while Ourimbah Creek recorded 53mL of rain in just one hour yesterday afternoon.

But the end is in sight. Today we're expecting a shower or two with the sunshine returning in time for the weekend with the mercury hitting the 30's for Sunday.
