With binoculars in hand, the design team of Cathy Freeman's iconic Sydney Olympics suit watched closely as she warmed up on September 25, 2000.
And then it happened, a glimmer of the suit popped out underneath her warm up gear and a massive weight lifted off their shoulders!
Suit designer Eddy Harber joined Cliffo & Gabi today on the 20th anniversary of that defining moment in Australian history, explaining the suspense that was felt on race day and where the inspiration for the suit came from.
