The Cowboys Are Turning 24, So Let's Take A Trip Down Memory Lane

Today, March 11 we wish our North Queensland Toyota Cowboys a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 

It was on this day back in 1995 that the club that we love so much played their first game.  

We didn't get the win, but nevertheless a historic moment in the club's history as they went down 32-16 to the Bulldogs. 

Actually, their weren't a lot of wins that season with the Cowboys taking home the wooden spoon with only two wins on the board. 

On another note- our boys in blue and grey weren't the only club to jump into the competition in 95.

Perth Western Reds, South Queensland Crushers, and Auckland Warriors were also added to the comp that year. 

In the last 24 years our team has faced a number of highs and lows, but we've always had their back. 

Today on the club's 24th birthday, let's salute the captains who have led the amazing team that is the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys.
