It is their favourite day of the year so O’Donoghues are putting on a huge day of celebrations including local line dancing performers, live fiddle players and acoustic duos all day. The chefs are dishing up a special Irish menu plus drink specials. It’s got such a fun Irish Pub vibe, so this is a great pick for Paddy’s Day!
General Bourke – Parramatta
This place used to be PJ Obrien’s… now called the General Bourke! This is an awesome local with great food and vibes. You have to order their Traditional Guinness Pie today before getting around some trivia fun later tonight with heaps of prizes!
Forrester’s Surry Hills
If you work in the city and want a knock off Guinness, look no further than Forrester’s in Surry Hills to celebrate. This iconic pub is serving $8 Pints of Guinness, delicious food and promise to have a bucketload of St Paddy’s Day craic! The drinks special includes $10 for Guinness, Baby Guinness shots or Irish Coffee, while their kitchen has whipped up delicious bites like beef and Guinness pie, Irish stew with barley bread, or if you like it sweet – you will be eyeing off the dark chocolate and Guinness pudding.
