Sydney's Lockdown Expected To Be Extended
With no predicted end date
With health officials still trying to contain rising Covid umbers in NSW, Sydney is expected to have their lockdown extended.
NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian will officially confirm whether Greater Sydney will be sent into another lockdown today.

The extension follows news that the NSW Government has granted a $4.1 billion business support package, while the Federal Government will pledge $500 million a week to business and income support throughout the duration of the Greater Sydney Lockdown.
While Greater Sydney residents are keen to find out when the lockdown will end, the premier is unlikely to give a specific time frame with health officials still unable to predict when the region will be able to get the latest covid outbreak under control.
NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant and Premier Gladys Berejiklian have previously implied that the number of active cases within the community will help to indicate when the lockdown is likely to end.
