This local favourite is serving up steaming hot bowls of hand-stretched noodles and 50-cent dumplings every day.
You can thank us later.
Mr Chen Beef Noodle is serving up 50-cent dumplings each and every day from 8–10pm.
This includes pan-fried classics, steamed and boiled versions of pork and chive, pork and cabbage, and vegetarian dumps. The only catch is that you have to order a minimum of six, which will just set you back a whole $3 - we ain't complaining.
If dumplings ain't your thing the noodles are just as delicious and are $12 and under!
The signature beef noodle ($10.80) comes topped with sliced radish, green garlic and coriander — you can choose from a heap of other versions, too. One is topped with pickled cabbage ($10.80), another is filled with pork and chicken wontons ($12.80) and a third is served with slow-cooked beef brisket and fresh chilli ($12.80). They arrive with your choice of five freshly made noodle types, which range from extra thin to super thick biang biang-style.
There is also plenty of other traditional Chinese dishes on offer as well, so don't worry, you won't go hungry!
Oh and if we didn't mention the place is BYO friendly. So, if you know, you know.
