Winter is well and truly here and so is the winter fun!
Grab your coats because the Greenwood Hotel in North Sydney is transforming into a winter terrain for over a week!
As part of Snow Week, from July 2nd to 5th,the newly renovated Greenwood Hotel will be unrecognisable with 100 tonnes of snow being dumped on the venue daily, giant inflatable snow animals, Thredbo lift passes up for grabs and the chance to win snowboards.
For the first time ever they will be hosting North Sydney’s ‘Snow Rail Jam’. Australian Olympic Snowboarder Jarryd Hughes will be visiting daily to show off his tricks and flips on the ramp and hang out with locals.
They’ve got an amazing schedule lined up for the week and some special events as per below:
When: Saturday 29 June
What: The hotel will transform into the great White North Pole with poutine and hockey tournaments, Canadian Trivia, Caesar Cocktails and Canadian Beer.
OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY
When: Tuesday 2 July
What: The official launch party of Snow Week kicks off between 5-7pm and will have free drinks and canapes for two hours. Guests can cosy up to winter cocktails and snap a pic with the Canadian Club Ski-Lift simulation for a winter wonderland experience.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY - LUNCH TIME
When: Thursday 4 July & Friday 5 July from 12pm
What: Greenwood Hotel and Greenwood Plaza will be teaming up to offer free hot chocolates and live band performances across two days.
GREENWOOD THURSDAYS ‘SNOW PARTY’
When: Thursday 4 July
What: The classic 2-4-1 pizza offering but with a winter twist and the opportunity to take pictures with the snow inflatables and snow rail.
NORTH SHORE FESTIVAL
When: July 6 12pm-10pm
What: Snow Rail Jam Competition with free entry all day, giveaways, DJ’s playing all day.
