It's time to put away the winter woolies and crack out the tank tops, with news that temperatures are set to soar next week.
It will hit the mid-to-high 20s in Sydney by Wednesday, with it expected to be 28C in Penrith by Tuesday.
Gusty winds are also on the cards, pushing the warm air around from central Australia to the east.
However, this will increase the fire risk - especially after such a dry winter.
Some showers may also pop up before the warmer weather creeps in on Sunday.
