Investigations are getting underway into what caused an empty home at Biggera Waters to go up in flames.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze on Parr Street, near Helena Street, around 4.15pm on Tuesday with reports of smoke coming from a house.
The vacant property had reportedly been empty for several weeks and no one was injured.
The home was well damaged, while the neighbouring properties were left untouched.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services officers claimed they believe the fire was suspicious.
Investigations were expected to continue on Wednesday.
