Sunrise Way will be holding their Resilience Breakfast next month and we are being encouraged to get in quick to secure tickets to this very popular fundraiser.
This year’s event will feature former Wallaby Andrew Slack as special guest speaker taking place February 15 on the lawns of Sunrise Way.
Sunrise Way CEO Wendy Agar said: “We held our first Resilience Breakfast last year, and it was such a success we decided to turn it into an annual event.
We’re so excited that Wallaby great Andrew Slack has agreed to be our guest speaker. His story about the resilience he has required in both his professional and private life is one I’m sure will be of interest to many people.
While fundraising is an important part of these events, it’s also vital to raise awareness about the difference Sunrise Way is making to people’s lives. We’ve found from previous events that hearing these personal stories really makes an impact.”
Guests at the breakfast will also hear from two of Sunrise Way’s former residents about their personal journey, and learn more about the important role Sunrise Way plays within the local community.
Tickets for the breakfast are just $45pp and can be purchased here.
Sunrise Way is supporting stronger and healthier communities in regional and rural Queensland through helping individuals living with addiction to rebuild their lives. It is a 20 bed not for profit rehabilitation service that facilitates a 26 week program. They recently won the Not-for-Profit Business of the Year Award at the 2018 Optus My Business Awards, the premier event of the year for SMEs.
