16 projects in CV receive funding

The state government’s announced the projects which have secured funding through the first Pick My Project initiative.

237 projects across the state shared in the 30 million dollar funding pool after more than 285 thousand votes were cast during the month long voting period which concluded in September.

In Loddon Campaspe, 16 projects shared in grants between 20 to 200 thousand dollars with the total amount coming in just under 2.2 million dollars.

The some of the notable projects are:

- setting up a sports museum at the Rochester Railway Station with $102,480
- Adding Colbinabbin to the Silo Artwork trail with $112,500
- Replacing a recently condemned toilet block at Greens Lake in Corop with $198,900
- Providing the Suicide Prevention Awareness Network Central Victoria with $100,000 for suicide prevention works in Bendigo
