He was once known for his baggy green, being an impeccable right-handed batsman, leading Australia to fifteen consecutive Test wins and he's considered as the most successful Test captain in cricket history. But now, Steve Waugh is leading a different type of team - one for charity.

Steve Waugh joined Pacey & Mak to chat about the Steve Waugh Foundation's The Captain's Ride, raising awareness about rare diseases and the bravery of the kids who live with them.

The Captain's Ride is an exclusive 6-day on-road cycle tour, starting in Toowoomba today and travelling 800km over the duration of the ride.

There are 400,000 Australian children with 6,000-8,000 rare diseases and The Captain's Ride's mission is "with strength of character, we ride for them" 

But being Steve Waugh, Pacey & Mak couldn't let him go without a bit of cricket chat, including the upcoming Boxing Day Test!
