Wagga's Bomen Business Park has been given a boost, with Deputy Premier John Barilaro announcing it will become the second Special Activation Precinct to be set up in regional NSW.

It means businesses setting themselves up in Bomen will have access to new industrial roads, freight rail links, digital connectivity, a fast-tracked planning process and the certainty of being located in a government precinct.

Mr Barilaro says initial forecasts indicate the government's investment in Bomen could generate 6,000 new jobs over the next 20 years.

A Master Plan is expected to be complete and ready for delivery later this year.
