Strand park has been transformed and it's time to step back in time for Townsville's Stable on The Strand.
The popular Christmas event was forced to push back bump-in due to a wet weekend, but many hands have made light work and it's ready for you to enjoy this afternoon.
Locals can see the festivities from 5:30pm-9:30pm daily until Saturday December 22 at Strand park.
Last night performers put on a Preview Night for seniors and those with disabilities so they could enjoy the night crowd free.
Go along and see the Town of Bethlehem, local performers, and food vendors from 5:30pm tonight.
Rides will also be at the event to entertain the 40,000 visitors who expected to enjoy Stable on the Strand in it's 17th year.
Townsville was lucky to not be hit by Cyclone Owen, but Gabi still got herself and injury from it!
