If you were struggling to take off your jumper last night while trying to fall asleep, only to realise you weren’t even wearing a jumper at all, you were not alone.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, South Australia has sweltered through one of our hottest April nights in years, with temperatures reaching 28°C at 4AM IN THE MORNING.
Compare this to the hottest night of 2017 reaching 24.5°C.
As for the rest of the week, temperatures will continue to soar above 30°C today and tomorrow, however, will them drop down to the low 20s with expected showers:
Tuesday, April 10: Max 34 (mostly sunny)
Wednesday, April 11: Min 18, Max 33 (sunny)
Thursday, April 12: Min 14, Max 22 (mostly sunny)
Friday, April 13: Min 12, Max 22 (showers developing)
Saturday, April 14: Min 12, Max 20 (showers)
Sunday, April 15: Min 13, Max 22 (shower or two)
