Someone Stole A Whole Garlic Crop & It’s ‘Impossible’ To Solve The Crime
Police are urging for public assistance.
We’ve unfortunately heard of many thefts before, but this one is very odd indeed. A Victorian has stolen a whole crop of GARLIC!
The crime, committed in late November, saw an entire crop disappear overnight from a farm in Cockatoo (an hour’s drive from Melbourne). The 400kg of produce is worth $10k-$15k and police are urging for the public’s assistance – otherwise, it may never be solved.
Emerald Police have asked anyone who is approached to purchase unusual amounts of garlic to come forward. It is suggested multiple people could have been involved.
