There are some disruptions to train services in Sydney this afternoon, with two reports of objects caught in the overhead wiring.

Earlier this afternoon, Sydney Trains confirmed that an object had blown into the overhead wiring at Redfern, with some delays while the issue was resolved.

It has been confirmed that there's been a similar incident at Chatswood station, with an object caught overhead.

There are significant delays on the North Shore and Western lines, both to and from the city, as a result.

Passengers are advised to delay travel, with significant disruptions to services.
