Say Goodbye To A Melbourne Icon: We’re Getting New Seating Fabric On The Trains

The wild rainbow designs we currently see on Melbourne trains are very iconic. There are even t-shirts made to celebrate it.

Now, after a fair few years of wear and tear, Public Transport Victoria have announced a brand new seating design. 

It’s a lot simpler this time around, with the use of triangles to create a dynamic image. The new colours will also make it easier for people to establish priority seating to general seating.
