It might not seem too bad just yet but a thunderstorm is headed SA's way.
Showers and strong winds up to 90km/hr are expected to lash the State from the West around midday.
The Bureau's issued a severe weather warning for a number of regions including the Metro area and Mt Lofty Ranges.
The SES have been handing out sandbags overnight and are urging anyone at risk of flooding to prepare their homes.
They say not to be deceived by the calm conditions at the moment, the Bureau's warning and past experience tells them we'll be battered soon.
A large cold front will make landfall by this afternoon and stick around for most of the weekend.
Residents should park their cars under cover, secure loose items and stay out from under trees.
