Registrations Now Open For Clean Up Australia Day 2019

Channel your inner Marie Kondo Campaspe, because Clean Up Australia Day is right around the corner, and registrations have now opened for community members who would like to contribute to the health and cleanliness of our natural environment. 

Campaspe Shire Council Mayor, Cr Adrian Weston said the day is an opportunity to come together to remove accumulating rubbish from our public areas and waterways, 

“There is so much we can do to help reduce the eight million tonnes of plastic entering our oceans worldwide each year, much of which comes via our local rivers." - Cr Weston

Following the success of last year's event, which saw over 170 bags and 9 ute loads of rubbish and recycling collected across Campaspe, we're looking forward to seeing the effects of this year's Clean Up Day. 

Clean Up Australia Day events will take place on the following days:

Tuesday 26th February -- Business Clean Up Day

Friday 1st March -- Schools Clean Up Day

Sunday 3rd March -- Community Clean Up Day
