Farmers in Gippsland have woken up to water in their rain gauges this morning after yesterday's storm and heavy rain.
34 millimetres of rain fell in Drouin, 29 millimetres in Wonthaggi, and 21 millimetres in Traralgon over the past 24 hours.
The most in the region was in the Noojee area with 37 millimetres, while Wilson's Promontory recorded 34 millimetres.
The Bureau of Meteorology is expecting rain to continue this morning with a possible thunderstorm bringing another 10 millimetres of rain later tonight.
Possible showers are also on the forecast into next week.
