The Queen's Baton Relay started its Western Australian leg in Albany this morning and begins its six-day journey through the State to officially herald April's Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).
Local community legends will carry the Queen's Baton from Albany, north through Manjimup, Bridgetown and Bunbury.
The relay will also pass through Rockingham, Rottnest Island, Fremantle, South Perth, Burswood Park, Perth, Kings Park, City Beach, Scarborough, Hillarys, Quinns Rocks, Wanneroo, Guildford and Karratha, where it leaves on Tuesday, February 27.
More than 310 Western Australians will carry the Queen's Baton over the six days and local communities have celebrations planned along the way.
