PSA: Western Line Trains Have Been Suspended Due To Urgent Repairs

There are some disruptions to train services this afternoon following a grass fire on the T1 Western Line.

Services were suspended after 4pm following a grass fire at Schofields, with shuttle train services operating between Richmond and Riverstone.

Just before 5pm the fire was under control and services had resumed.

However, a further interruption on that line was announced at 5.30pm, with urgent crossing repairs at Riverstone.

Services are currently suspended between Schofields and Riverstone in both directions while crossing repairs get underway.

Buses have been called in to run between Schofields and Riverstone in both directions.

Customers are advised to allow extra travel time.
