Protestors are blockading the entries to Melbourne's container port - calling for an end to the detention of refugee.

Three protesters have suspended themselves over the road entries to the port on Footscray Road, Port Melbourne and have unfurled banners reading 'SOS Manus.' They are refusing to come down.

"We refuse to remain complicit in the Australian government's torture and imprisonment of refugees," protester Sid Littlewood said on Monday.
