The Duke and Dutchess of Sussex’s visit to Australia has taken the nation by storm.
Yesterday, the couple opened the $40 million upgrade of the ANZAC memorial at Hyde Park in Sydney.
Meghan wore a sophisticate all black look to show respect, designed by New Zealand’s Emilia Wickstead.
What caught everyone’s attention the most, however, was the handwritten note Meghan and Harry left at the memorial.
The note read:
“In grateful memory of hose who had the ultimate sacrifice and in recognition of the men and women for whom the scars endure."
The official Royals website outlined how Harry served 10 years in the army, with two of those years being in Afghanistan.
