Scenes that you would expect to see on an episode of M.A.S.H have played out in North Queensland this week with the Army doing phenomenal work in our community during this significant weather event.

On Saturday afternoon an Army patient transfer was conducted for a number of Burdekin residents needing treatment.

The Army chopper made it's way to the cane farm community to collect 4 residents and transport them to Townsville hospital.
