Police Safely Detonate Explosives Discovered At Davoren Park Home

Police have undertaken a controlled detonation following the discovery of explosives at a property in Heytesbury Road, Davoren Park.

This follows a discovery made in a backyard shed on Monday, with a 43-year-old man arrested in relation to the incident.

The explosives were removed and placed in an area of the property to be safely detonated this afternoon, with reports emerging just before 4pm that the explosion has been completed.

A police vehicle has taken a trip around neighbouring properties to alert people of the situation, and advise that members of the public should remain inside and away from their windows as a precaution.
