Police rush to the scene of alleged shootings
Two people found deceased.
The community has been rocked by an alleged shooting, Police working together on both sides of the border.
Investigators have been told an 82 year old woman has been located with a fatal gunshot wound at a Red Cliffs property yesterday afternoon.
Later that day, officers from Barrier Police District responded to reports of a shooting at around 1.30 pm yesterday afternoon on Rufus River Road, Rufus, 70 km west of Wentworth.
Police located the body of a man suffering a gunshot wound.
A second man was found nearby, also suffering a gunshot wound.
He has been taken to hospital in a critical condition under Police guard.
It's believed all three parties were known to each other, Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incidents.
