Toowoomba police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who was involved in an ‘evade police’ offence.

On the February 4 at 11:55am officers from Toowoomba Property Unit attended Featherstone Court, Rockville where they witnessed a male person exit a vehicle (pictured below).

Officers have stopped to speak with the man and directed the driver to pull the vehicle over. The driver has slowed upon approaching the officer however, he swerved away from the officer accelerating heavily at the last minute, speeding out of the street into Trapp Street, failing to stop as directed.

The identity of the driver is unknown to police at this time.  He is described as:

  • Male
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait/Pacific Islander appearance
  • Black hair
  • Approximately 180cm tall
  • Around 30 years old

The vehicle is described as:

  • Silver Ford Falcon
  • Last seen with Queensland registration plates VRX95
