Police have laid charges over an incident where a man was run over in his tent at a Lorne music festival.

A Terang man in his 20s has been charged after plumber Andrew Pepper work up trapped in his tent, with tyre marks on his back at Falls Festival on New Years’ Day this year. Police have charged the man with careless driving and drug driving

Pepper had been sleeping on his front and the car ran over his stomach – which saved his life paramedics reportedly said at the time. He was found to have a fractured vertebra later in hospital.
