Police Investigate Violent Burglary in Tara on Sunday Morning

Police investigations are continuing into the violent burglary in Tara in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:30am when three men armed with a knife and a piece of wood forced entry into a caravan on Milne Street and assaulted the male occupant.

The victim managed to fight the three men off, forcing them to flee the scene.

The man received only minor injuries – the caravan damage was contained to the door and a window.
