Police Investigate Shots In Kennington

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after shots were fired into a car at Kennington early this morning.

It’s believed a firearm was discharged at a vehicle parked in Bren Street driveway about 4.30am.

A number of shots hit the car, causing damage.

Occupants of the property were home at the time, but no one was injured.

A light coloured SUV or similar type of vehicle was seen in the area around the time of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.

Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident.
