Police have confirmed an investigation is being carried out following claims an Uber driver assaulted a women in North Brisbane early this morning.
It's been suggested that around 12:20am, after a group of friends were dropped off at a residence in Alderley, the driver of a blue 2015 Renault Captur continued to an address in Gordon Park with the woman where the alleged assault took place.
Police are calling for witnesses who may have seen or heard anything related to this matter to contact their local police or call Policelink on 131444.
QLD police have not laid charges against the accused.
The shock claims come after charges were laid against two seperate drivers over the alleged rape of women using ride sharing service Uber in the Brisbane and Ipswich areas.
