Police are appealing to the public to find missing man, Frank Hoyle.

The 70-year-old was driving from Queensland to French's Forest in Sydney's Northern Beaches and was last seen at West Wallsend around 4pm Thursday, May 24.

An appeal to find a man who may be missing in the Hunter

When Frank failed to contact a family member, officers from the Northern Beaches Police Area Command were alerted and commenced an investigation to locate him.

It's unclear if he is still in West Wallsend or has driven off. Frank has a blue Kia Rio with Queensland rego 331 BF7 and was last seen wearing an orange-brown shirt, navy blue pants and prescription glasses.

He is described as being 170cm tall, thin build, bald with blue eyes and speaks with an English accent.  Police are concerned for Frank's welfare, as he suffers from a medical condition.
