Perth Airport has announced a $100,000 advertising campaign to combat commuter confusion across updates to its two international and four domestic terminals.

Perth Airport CEO Kevin Brown said passengers could keep on top of the changes by double checking their flight details, which comes ahead of the inaugural Qantas flight from Perth to London. 

“We are delighted that this world-first service is happening at Perth Airport which will connect people to a world of possibilities.  This history-making new direct flight from Perth – London will put Perth Airport at the centre of flights between Australia and Europe,” Mr Brown said.

To facilitate international service from the T3/T4 precinct, Perth Airport and Qantas have facilitated significant works to produce new and improved facilities at the terminal, including a new international transit terminal which will provide Qantas customers a seamless and integrated travel experience.

Another big step towards the commencement of international services from T3/T4, was the old Perth Domestic Terminal sign being removed.

Mr Brown said the removal of the sign is an important reminder that the airport no longer has two separate International and Domestic precincts.

“There are actually four terminals - T1, T2, T3 and T4 – and the roads leading to the airport are clearly sign posted.

“If you check your itinerary carefully, you’ll be sure to go to the right terminal. And you’ll be on time – every time."
