Downton Abbey is one of those TV series that captured the attention of everyone around the globe, so it made sense that we’d eventually be getting a film to satisfy our cravings for more, more, more.
While we haven’t been blessed with a trailer for the project as of yet, we’ve just got a first look at four new promo posters that scream FANCY!
The new posters show Mary, Edith and Baron all in their own images, getting ready to stir up a storm of scandal.
Vanity Fair revealed that the film follows the family preparing for a mystery event and will be set in 1927, which is a year and a half after the events that took place in the final season.
Some of our favourites will be returning for the film, including Imelda Staunton, Maggie Smith, Brendan Coyle, Hugh Bonneville, Kevin Doyle, Penelope Wilton, Allen Leech, Matthew Goode, Joanne Froggatt, and more!
The show is full of drama and scandal, so if you want some quality, satisfying television that isn’t just the petty, immoral drama of Jess on MAFS, then this is for you!
The film is set to hit theatres in September.
