Organisers Explain Why Mortal Kombat Movie Will Be Filmed In Adelaide

You may have heard yesterday that a remake of the Mortal Kombat movie is being filmed in Adelaide!

The Premier of South Australia, Steven Marshall yesterday announced that the Adelaide Studios in Glenside will be used by New Line Cinema, creating around 580 jobs and requiring about 1,500 local extras.

The movie is likely to provide a $70 million dollar boost to the local economy.

Some have been left scratching their heads over the location choice, so we called on Courtney Gibson, SA Film Corp CEO to explain!
