News.com is reporting the biggest manufacturer of Nutella has halted their production of the melt in your mouth goodness amid quality control fears.

The Villers-Ecalles site in Normandy produces more than 600,000 jars a day but has been suspended for precautionary measures.

French Agriculture Minister Didier Guillaume told CNews as far as he's aware it's an economic problem, not a health problem.

No products in market are currently impacted and customers shouldn't be affected- especially here in Australia.

Not sure about you, but I think I'll just go and get some extra jars on the way home. Just in case. Maybe.
